The best part of the trilogy
6Knowing that Electronic Arts told us that this would be the best part of the trilogy. We leave the beautiful words here for Electronic Art and try to focus on how they prove this.
Crysis 3 is twenty years after the events of Crysis 2, the world has now changed considerably.
Cell Corporation has the main cities with huge nano-domes that protects men kind and also works against environmental pollution. Crysis 3 occurs within the dome that is placed on New York, called Liberty Dome. As you go through the game world, you will recognize much of the city if you played the last part. In the twenty years that have elapsed, the city is overrun by a vibrant rainforest. The sight is determined by trees, although through the greenery indeed some buildings are still intact.

Prophet
Under the dome humans are obviously busy fighting versus both aliens and other humans, you step back into the shoes of the Prophet and also go back to the confrontation with the aliens and Cell Corporation. Prophet knows the dome is build by the Cell Corporation to steal people their freedom.
In the level that is presented to us at E3, the aliens are indeed hard to find (due to the dome). The fight takes place in the demo around a huge dam, which is somewhat the same as the Hoover Dam and is monitored by the Cell. The first thing you notice is that Prophet has a new toy in the form of a huge Bow. This is even more luxurious with a wide choice of bow arrows, and he has two qualities that make him very valuable: First, the shooting of arrows almost soundlessly, which makes Prophet not immediately be discovered if he firing an arrow. Second, keep your cloak work if you firing an arrow. All other weapons can be seen as a shot dissolves, but if you keep your bow you stay invisible.
So how bad do you want to try the fancy bow?

What’s that ugly alien face? Did they change the aliens’ appearance again?
Probably this is one kind of the aliens in the game.
We surely know that there are some more kinds.
this is only for the demonstration of the cryengine 3 in my opinion.
Magnificent! Now console germas will get to see the original graphics king of the days in the form of pared graphics, plagued with textures and geometry pop-ins, that will also struggle to maintain 30fps while running at sub-HD resolution. Thank you, Crytek! I truly appreciate your amazing display of dedicated efforts in bringing such an amazing game that original Crysis was to the console germas who have been desperately yearning to play it for years. Now, let’s all give a big round of applause to the best game developers ever.VN:F [1.9.17_1161](from 0 votes)
There seem to be some doubt from users creeping into the vatdiily of the LOT comparision in this thread due to most other gaming sites giving the edge in graphics to the 360.Have a read of this quote from a guy who reviewed crysis 2 for a top swedish magazine, its been translated by bing but its perfectly clear. When I during my week at the home of Crytek (Frankfurt) tested the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 version to each other, the latter felt a little bit more polished. The lighting effects were a bit better looking, the graphics a little sharper and a little bit better fluency. So I wrote in my review, although the differences were small, so I mentioned them. Tomorrow is released Crysis 2 in Sweden and I have this morning, sat and compared the two store versions (PS3 and Xbox 360) and now realize that Crytek must have done some kind of hasty (and very effective) final polishing of the versions I tested in Frankfurt. For Crysis 2 for PlayStation 3 is just as nice as it is the Xbox 360. There exists a certain difference in the resolution, which is not noticeable / visible. Equivalent versions, in other words. And I must correct myself in my review as promptly. “From what i can gather the vast majority of PS3 reviews have been based from people who played the game at media events like this gut. Gamestop themselves have written that crytek only sent out 360 copies and despite numerous requests for a PS3 copy they never got one ..now considering gamestop are the 2nd biggest gaming website in the world and couldnt get a PS3 copy i doubt anyone else could.Lens of truth have based all these comparisions on retail copies(friends in right places i guess) and its clear to see from these comparisions that the comments made by the swedish reviewer ring true ..The games look identical.Whilst reviewers where writing up their articles and critising the PS3 version the guys at Crytek were still putting the finishing touches to the retail build. It should also be noted that the PS3 version has an update available on boot up which i believe only went live on the 22nd, no details as to what that contained and it could be the same on 360 im not sure.Just wanted to make people aware of this informationVN:R_U [1.9.12_1141](from 0 votes)
