Yesterday, July 25th 2012, Four screenshots of Crysis 3 been leaked on the blog of Pierre-Yves Donzallaz, a senior lighting artist at Crytek

The screenshots show the Canyon as we saw them on The E3 event.

We assumed that if screenshots been taken there has to be a source and we found it!

New Crysis 3 single player demo.

In this video we see how beautiful Crysis 3 is going to be, it features in-game footage of a single player mission.

It really lets use see a bit of the sandbox and the best graphics ever?

Knowing that  Electronic Arts told us that this would be the best part of the trilogy. We leave the beautiful words here for Electronic Art and try to focus on how they prove this.

Crysis 3 is twenty years after the events of Crysis 2, the world has now changed considerably.
Cell Corporation has the main cities with huge nano-domes that protects men kind and also works against environmental pollution. Crysis 3 occurs within the dome that is placed on New York, called Liberty Dome. As you go through the game world, you will recognize much of the city if you played the last part. In the twenty years that have elapsed, the city is overrun by a vibrant rainforest. The sight is determined by trees, although through the greenery indeed some buildings are still intact.

Prophet
Under the dome humans are obviously busy fighting versus both aliens and other humans, you step back into the shoes of the Prophet and also go back to the confrontation with the aliens and Cell Corporation. Prophet knows the dome is build by the Cell Corporation to steal people their freedom.

In the level that is presented to us at E3, the aliens are indeed hard to find (due to the dome). The fight takes place in the demo around a huge dam, which is somewhat the same as the Hoover Dam and is monitored by the Cell. The first thing you notice is that Prophet has a new toy in the form of a huge Bow. This is even more luxurious with a wide choice of bow arrows, and he has two qualities that make him very valuable: First, the shooting of arrows almost soundlessly, which makes Prophet not immediately be discovered if he firing an arrow. Second, keep your cloak work if you firing an arrow. All other weapons can be seen as a shot dissolves, but if you keep your bow you stay invisible.

So how bad do you want to try the fancy bow?

A lot of rumors have been running across the Crysis community lately. We don’t know if they’re true or not, and we are skeptical about them too, but still we thought to share it with you, as you might want to know.

We all heard the rumor about Crytek & EA wanting to produce a touch screen to be used within Crysis 3 (on XBOX360), sounds pretty hard to believe, but as it is with rumors, someone out there might know something, and we will try to find out, with the hope that he will make a step and tell us what he knows so we can share it on our website.

The new wave of rumors goes about a new way to control your super soldier, and of course not only the controller…
two ways were heard to be checked lately by “highly respected companies”, the first one is more believable, the other one is still missing some sparks of reality:
1. Augmented Reality devices like glasses and guns.
2. Mind Controlling devices. (don’t even proved to be existed yet, but it’s a rumor too)

There are two videos on YouTube that we found that can demonstrate similar devices to the ones talked about:

As can be seen, each device here can add more dimensions to the gaming experience of Crytek and EA masterpiece, and surely make this creation a little more than everybody else.

Will they really use it ?
The first option looks much more appropriate to a first person shooter game such as Crysis,
the second option, hmm… hard to believe, looks pretty not comfortable.

Will the fans like it ?
Obviously we can’t tell the future, but lets not forget we are Crysis fans ourselves, so we only share our emotions about the subject:
we like Crysis as it is, we like the controllers and we like the gameplay as it is, we just want great options, playability, and amazing graphics,adding that to the calssic playing can be nice and even can make new generation of gamers, and with all the competition outside, this can set high standards by Crytek and EA if it succeed, that’s all good, but we just want to play game the way it always has been.

Hey! what about the gun?!
Ok, the GUN was COOL!!!

Now wait…
Before we jump to conclusions we have to be sure, and if we want to be sure we have to check. For now these rumors are only rumors, but who knows may be if it will happen to be true as some might think, you will be glad you knew about it before everyone else.

In this part of the E3 gameplay, we see Prophet trying to destroy a control tower and escaping.

Prophet walks onto a platform while having clock, loaded with enemies, we heard enemy sounds, the wind, the background music, a commando giving Prophet some orders and then BOOM Prophet starts shooting his enemies and his clock turns off. The first thing we see is him shooting a barrel which explodes loudly after that he picks his Typhoon to blow all his enemies away. The enemies are humans with heavy armor, but that’s not a huge problem for Prophet and his big boys. We also see grenades which aren’t really viewed except the moment its getting threw but it looks like they are emp grenades. After the enemies on the platform are wiped out you walk to a tower where some enemies are still located. After they got brutally killed (grabbing somebody at the throat). You walk into the tower where some enemies are still waiting. When your finally there, you tell your commando and get ordered to destroy it. This is done by brutal fighting. After that you have to escape while encountering a lot of enemies and when you get to the platform a chopper is waiting for you. After you have done this you zip with a zip-line downwards. While seeing a dam breaking.

Wait i think we miss something?
Yes, you are right, we miss the sandbox play! In the video everything went through one way and things occurred that showed that it was the only one. The change that the sandbox will be removed is small but seeing how good the graphics are. This may mean that the sandbox gameplay got very small to give the graphics more room, especially with an eye on the console performance which is at its limits.

Whether it’s science or just the love for destruction and explosions, it’s a New Ground for experiments.
For some people Crysis is not just a game!
 
even if it is making you laugh and even if it’s not,
not everybody is here for the playing, gaming, you name it.
we found a new crowd to Crysis and they are CryEngine Experimenters.
and they made us Laugh!
 
Developers and Level designers have left the casual designing for playing and moved to a new “ART”, experimenting with the CryEngine or Crysis physics,
some of them just build some structures in an unrealistic conditions, and just enjoy watching everything when they put it inside realistic condition,
or sometimes just watching everything break and explode to pieces, and lets not forget the power of 16000 flameable barrels creating some fireworks!
 
before you try it in Crysis 3 or CryEngine on your own computer, make sure you have enough CPU Power, Memory, and of course a great Graphics card.
usually we will ask what are the crysis system requirements, as you can expect, in this kind of “gaming” the system requirements are “a little” higher.
 

 

 

 
we already know about gamers who are making games harder by restricting themselves to only one type of weapon,
or not using first aid kits, or maybe even not wearing shields for a whole level, just for the sake of excitement, and difficulty,
these advanced gamers are just making things more interesting.
 
we saw some of them in competitions,

So you want to shoot some aliens, huh? Well.. we want to but we can’t without our big blasters! Here is a shot of Crysis weapons showed so far:

 
Bow and Arrows – The iconic weapon of Crysis 3 meant to show you “you are the hunter” this weapon is a bow which ammo can be switched, creating dynamic gameplay.

As we saw in the demo gameplay in E3, the bow is not going to be so lame after all, specially when it’s meant for exploding machines.

A chopper? Hurry! Pick the explosive. Being a stealthy ? Pick a normal area to kill without sound.

Alpha Jackal – An upgraded shotgun from Crysis 2. This gun is a BRUTAL shot gun devastating your friends and foes on close range.

C4 – This explosive was shown at the end of the trailer at the e3 its a small bomb with a huge blast, the bomb is already known today but in Crysis 3 its even more dangerous.

Ceph Plasma Destroyer – Firing large rounds of plasma this weapon is ready to shoot everything , the weapon is created by aliens and the nano suit allows prophet to wield it as well.

Hammer 2 – This is a upgraded version of the old hammer pistol, and as the name says it hammers through your opponents.

Jaw – This rocket launcher is the one that has been in all games , its a bazooka with a big bang making your opponents explode on a though way.

Scar – Also one we are familiar with , its a gun also used in our period of time but in Crysis 3 its a bit updated one and you can put various attachments on it.

Typhoon – Want to shoot bullets? Want to shoot fast? Want to rock your opponents?

Pick the Typhoon! With 720 rounds a second I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

We have some more Crysis weapons that aren’t proven but we sure know they exist:
Scar Mod 2, Scarab, Majestic-Six and Feline.
